Invisible speakers coming
Demonstrates the embedded speaker flatscreen technology which I first saw in the 90s in some Monsoon speakers.

Dyson sent out an email introducing a newly re-invented everyday thing we use and a link showing us hints at what it could be, except that the video shows little else except people looking surprised.
Turns out its probably an "air multiplier." Cool.
Dyson confirms it is a bladeless fan. Prices start at $299 if you want bleeding edge technology.
This is old news for some of you international travelers but I just found out that Boingo is only $9.95 per month for WiFi access practically everywhere there is a McDonalds and Starbucks (almost literally every city that I can imagine going to).
That is a great deal if you are on the computer all the time (like me).
Today Microsoft announced the Zune HD, which is basically an Apple iTouch competitor. It's going to have multitouch web browsing and interface, and HD radio and HD output through a separate docking station.
I really don't see how this is going to compete with the iTouch unless they do something incredibly drastic. If anything all those cool apps that make the Apple iTouch and iPhone so awesome is reason enough not to go with anything else.
Its said we will find out more about the unit at E3.
How many of you have seen the TV shows based in Las Vegas where they have all the behind the scenes view of all the cameras tracking every person?
I experienced that here in Vegas. From the moment we stepped in the cameras already captured our mugs and from that the casino host was able to locate us anywhere. Casino floor, casino restaurant, elevator, hotel hallways.
It was unreal.
I imagine the the technology will be cheap enough to go mainstream in a few years for everyone. Heck, iphoto already has facial recognition where you just have to tag a person once, and it will find all the photos that have that person in it if you want.
Big brother is watching.

There exists a database which all the big casinos subscribe to that has the facial recognition and background checks of all the major cheaters from around the world. The second they step in where they are not wanted, security is alerted and they can then take action. Just like on TV and the movies.
