Autographer Bit the Dust
On my trip, my Autographer Wearable Camera (review here) gave up on me July 4th in Washington DC. It stopped holding a charge past a reported 12%, which effectly only allowed a few minutes of camera 'on' time.
I submitted a support request through the support email link for USA (which oddly directs to UK still). It took them about 2 days to get back to me, and about a week after that to send out a UPS label via email for me to mail it in for inspection and hopefully, repair or replacement.
If you experience problems with yours, your best bet is to call them vs submitting an email. It took a few seconds to answer, and everything was handled smoothly over the phone.
I will update this post after I send out the Autographer this afternoon to Tennessee for inspection.
Due to some miscommunication, I got an email from Autographer support stating that I should have sent in my Autographer and all original accessories. They will send me a new one after they receive it.
No other word on their evaluation of my unit however.
The folks over at Autographer posted me out a new replacement yet received yesterday. Awesome! Now I just have to find those accessories and send them back.
Its really a shame that I missed out on using it over the past 2 weeks when I really needed it though. But, it happens.
