Loupedeck™ from DigiPeople Studio on Vimeo.
I wish I heard of Loupedeck before the campaign ended, but I've been too busy with 'life' to curate and post lately. Good news is that it was funded, so it should be available by the end of this year (hopefully).
In the meantime, I will be playing with my new Palette Pro Gear.
Just got my Spider Light Holster from SpiderHolster in the mail today, already enjoying it!

Camera Store TV recently did a test of straight out of camera, completely automatic JPGs when printed? Top 3?
Nikon KeyMission 80 was announced earlier (and releases October 26th on Amazon) for under $280. My Autographer was retired (no longer additional development) sometime last year and I haven't used it in a while because the battery life no longer lasts a full day. Same thing about the Narrative Clip as well.
Obvious improvements are better picture quality for sure, however it also appears to be much bigger so its going to be way more conspicuous than the original Autographer and Narrative clip. Also unlike the Autographer there are no parameters or intelligence in when it will automatically take a picture - basically having just an interval mode it seems. But, it is super rugged, records video, has dual cameras, and what appears to be a really nice magnetic mount.
I'm going to wait to try one out in person to see if its something I can add to my EDC.

Let's scratch what I said in the subject. I am a pixel peeper from time to time but only when I happen to be using Photoshop to review pictures and check for clarity, and noise. Most of time this happens when I get a picture that is clearly heads and shoulders above in sharpness, contrast, color and details that make me want to go back to some of my other pictures to compare pixels.

According to Amazon, and Fuji - the SP-2 is coming in a week, and its going to be priced at the original $199.99 price point the SP-1 was at launch.
Its a little bit bigger, has lithium ion battery (which you can exchange), a higher resolution, a new print engine using lasers so the prints come out (develop) almost twice as fast.
Each one looks awesome. I currently use the Everyday Messenger Bag - just as intended, every day. And while I do have some issues with it, it has proven to still be my favorite choice.
Now, they give us 2 backpacks to choose from, a tote and a sling. Since a lot of people have been asking for a backpack, myself included, they produced two different sized backpacks. I went for the 30L myself, but I may add a 20L later...
So many good choices...
I just bought this bag on eBags and received it a few days ago. I saw this bag last year on Kickstarter but never did bite the bullet. I had just purchased a lot of ThinkTank Photo Bags.
While was surfing youtube last night I came across this video which I thought should be recommended for anybody who has purchased this bag because it really gives you insight into the design, and how to use the bag as it was originally designed. I hope this video is also helpful for you guys as well.
I like the bag so far, but I would really like them to produce a backpack as I have a lot of other messenger type bags (and shoulder bags).

Momax makes a premium selfie stick

Last year was the year of the selfie at CES. Everybody had a selfie stick. They even introduced a belfie stick. This year, its done and done. Yes, you can see them being showcased but for the most part the market has saturated. So Momax went the logical route, and created a fancy premium selfie stick. The only problem is that it is $115+!
CustomSLR has yet another kickstarter campaign ending in 7 days. They make an innovative line of straps and camera accessories for the modern photographer. I've met the founders at various trade shows and they are the nicest guys.
Just $3000, but now you have built-in recording and even better low light performance.
Cool design for a camera bag that solves the camera lens cap issue. Love the buckle, and great design.
