Maybe you need an older business oriented laptop.  Older being perfectly fine and suitable for all business software such as Office 2010 etc with or without the operating system.  My advice on this is get the no OS (no operating system) laptops and buy and install your own copy of Windows 7.  It's easy and way better than Vista.
