I'm a big fan of TomTom in general since I got my first unit back in early 2003.  They have the most features and show the most on the dashboard so that I know everything I need to know at a glance.  The 540 series is better than the 550 series because it retains most of the advanced features, while the 550 was dumbed down to attract the Garmin crowd with a simplified interface (which you can turn on with the 540 anyway).

Pretty hot deal.  Please note that there are some things that you need to do to ensure that it will work with the iTouch 4th gen (latest one with camera).

Pretty much people have to make sure that the location based settings is on, be running the latest version of TomTom, and then put it in a case or something that will hold it in place so that the electrical contact stays connected.

Note that this does not include the TomTom GPS app from the Apple Store.
