Grundig G2 Reporter Radio is the number one selling radio on Amazon right now for good reason. It started out over $150 when released, so I'm sure it wasn't as popular then. Its got all the bells and whistles, and firmware upgrade-able. Main issue for some as an emergency radio is that it charges via USB. But the way I see it, almost everything is powered via USB now. Even solar panels output USB.

I'm not sure about the so called 'ebook' function though. The manual doesn't say much about it either.
