GNS 5870 MFI GPS Bluetooth Receiver for iPhone, iPad Review
I bought this unit for use on a month long trip abroad in Asia, hoping to use it with both an iPad (no GPS) as well as iPhone for better reception while traveling, for navigation, GPS geotagging, and trip logging.
Why I chose this unit over the competition:

6. Durability - Just throw it in the bag, no worries about connectors going bad, or scratches (high quality plastic).
Sure, its more expensive than the competitors for a similar advertised (but untested by me) battery pack but the additional price increase is well worth it!
I will post more about other packs that I also travelled with and tested for my mobile hotspot, and electronic power needs.
Clear iSpot 4G Review

As you probably figured out by now, this model / pricing plan is no longer available from Clear for $25. They have an identical unit in black that is also 4G only but at a higher price and not restricted to Apple devices.
While traveling last month I used up about 14 GB of data in the greater LA County area. Worked out great for streaming videos and uploading pictures.
