It's called a Dragon Fruit, and this version is red inside. My mom grew it in the backyard starting back when you could not find this type of fruit in the store. Apparently it's also known as a Pitaya, but Dragon Fruit is so much more fun.

When it flowers, it's absolutely stunning. I think I tweeted a picture of the flower over the summer.
