Garmin HUD May Be Safest GPS Add-on Yet
The Garmin H.U.D. (Heads Up Display) unit is available for pre-order with an estimated early October 2013 release for $149.99. You'll need Garmin's Navigon or StreetPilot on your device though - which runs about an extra $50 if you don't already have it.
Audi eTron R18 @ CES
Audi showed off their eTron R18 Quattro. Its a hybrid version of the R18 ultra. Electric motors for the front, and V6 510 HP in the back. It's just a stunning car you and I will probably never drive.

I've seen these in action before around college campuses with 20 minute parking tow-away zones. Just minutes after the time limit, their car is towed and the owner given a $400 recovery fee + daily storage fees.
