I'm honestly not a hard-core first-person shooter fan. I started with doom back in the 90s, played a little bit of call of duty on the console, and that's pretty much about it.

I thought that overwatch origins was just going to be Meh! But blizzard had an open beta weekend where they wanted to test the servers, and after a few games I was hooked. Thankfully, the system requirements are not ridiculous. Also like most blizzard games, it's very well thought out, balanced, and should be very fun to play even for people who don't like first-person shooters.

The next Open Beta starts on May 5th, 2016.

The best price by far is from CDkeys.com for less than $42 USD. I purchased Fallout 4 from them at a very nice discount a few months ago and everything came through as described. I was so happy with the price, and the service that I recently became a web affiliate.

Anyway, check out the videos that blizzard put out about overwatch. What some gameplay, but you should really try the game for yourself. Tips on the Everyday Messenger Bag

I just bought this bag on eBags and received it a few days ago. I saw this bag last year on Kickstarter but never did bite the bullet.  I had just purchased a lot of ThinkTank Photo Bags.

While was surfing youtube last night I came across this video which I thought should be recommended for anybody who has purchased this bag because it really gives you insight into the design, and how to use the bag as it was originally designed. I hope this video is also helpful for you guys as well.

I like the bag so far, but I would really like them to produce a backpack as I have a lot of other messenger type bags (and shoulder bags).

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Amazon's Echo, also known as Alexa. Now, she comes in two different forms both of which are much more portable than the original. In this un-boxing you get to see firsthand what is like to undress both the new Amazon Echo Dot and the Amazon Echo Tap.

New DropCam Alternative, Edimax IC-5150W ?

I love my Dropcams (now called Nest Cams).  But in order to get the full benefit from them you have to subscribe to cloud services which start at $9.99 per month for 7 days of constant recording with no local storage (but you can export recordings from the cloud after.)

Saw this briefly at CES 2016, the Edimax IC-5150W 1080P Full HD Wi-Fi Fisheye Cloud Camera with 180-Degree Panoramic View which also features local storage, storage to local NAS which then allows you to connect to Dropbox and Google Drive through the app - instructions here.

Right now its going on lightning deal for $119.99 (normal is $149 release price).  Something I'll be checking out and will let you all know how well it works.

Spring Forward - Coffee Grinder

Happy Spring-Forward-Daylight-Savings-Time-Change-Day!

I'll admit to not changing time over at all this morning.  Pretty much just slept in, and got to sleep late due to a whole day of continuing education yesterday about healthcare.

Anyway, sitting here enjoying my coffee (2nd cup), I found out that the best rated coffee grinder is now back in stock, and sold on Amazon Prime.

Yup, its $229 which is more than may of you probably spend on coffee equipment but if you're like me, and drink multiple cups a day, different styles and want freshly ground to perfection coffee beans this is reportedly the best choice.  (If I can find a reference, I would but you can trust me on this one - I've been looking for a while).

Amazon's Echo Tap Pre-Order

Amazon's Echo device is one of the few things that I use every, single day.  From turning on lights, appliances, alarms, and timers in the day, to playing my 'sleeping' playlist at night.  Its also how I consume my news in the morning before I start my work.

Tap is the to-go version.  Well worth trying out even if you just want a bluetooth speaker, but get the intelligence of a personal assistant and DJ to go (linked with Pandora, Amazon Prime Music, etc).

No Free Wifi in Hotel Lobby - Treasure Island Las Vegas

In today's day and age I sort of expect a nice hotel / casino to offer complimentary wifi to some degree in a place like the hotel lobby.  Even if its time limited, or you have to watch ads, or you have to be a hotel guest - something.  Nope... not here.

But if you want to charge your room, or charge $24.95 - you can get it.  To add insult, the lobby area doesn't have any real good meeting place to make use of said paid for wifi.
